Terms and Conditions
To use SpikeHub, developed by Raphael Ruedo, you must be at least 13 years old. By downloading or using the app, these terms will automatically apply to you – so please make sure to read them carefully before using the app. You are not permitted to copy or modify the app, any part of it, or our trademarks in any way. You also cannot attempt to extract the app's source code, translate it into other languages, or create derivative versions. The app itself, as well as all trademarks, copyrights, database rights, and other intellectual property rights related to it, remain the property of Raphael Ruedo.
We at SpikeHub are committed to ensuring that the app is as useful and efficient as possible. For that reason, we reserve the right to make changes to the app or charge for its services at any time and for any reason. We will never charge for the app's services or features without clearly explaining what you're paying for.
The SpikeHub app stores and processes personal data that you have provided to us in order to deliver our service. It is your responsibility to keep your access to the app secure. Therefore, we recommend that you do not jailbreak or root your phone, which could make it vulnerable to malware/viruses/malicious programs, compromise your phone's security features, and cause the SpikeHub app to not function properly or at all.
Third-Party Services
The app uses third-party services that have their own Terms and Conditions, such as:
- Google Play Services
- AdMob
- Google Analytics for Firebase
- Firebase Crashlytics
You should be aware that there are certain things that SpikeHub will not take responsibility for. Some functions of the app will require an active internet connection. The connection can be Wi-Fi or provided by your mobile network provider, but SpikeHub cannot be held responsible if the app does not function fully if you do not have access to Wi-Fi or if your data allowance runs out.
If you are using the app outside of an area with Wi-Fi, remember that the terms of your mobile network provider's agreement will still apply. As a result, you may be charged by your mobile provider for the cost of data while accessing the app, or other third-party charges. By using the app, you are accepting responsibility for such charges, including data roaming charges if you use the app outside of your home territory (i.e., region or country) without turning off data roaming.
Profile Content
Within the app, you must follow the following rules regarding profile content:
- Advertising: You are not allowed to use your profile to advertise any services, products, political opinions, or anything that could be used to gain profit or popularity, except on personal social media related to gaming that you own and manage in a non-commercial or semi-commercial manner.
- Recruitment: You may not use your profile or the app’s communication system to recruit users for any group, server, or community.
- Explicit Content: You are not allowed to display any explicit content, nudity, or graphic violence.
- Offensive Content: You are not allowed to display any content that is offensive to other users, especially racist or sexist content.
- Impersonation: You are not allowed to impersonate someone else or provide false information about your identity.
- Dating-Related Content: SpikeHub is an app for finding gamer friends, not for romantic encounters.
- Personal Information: Do not publicly disclose your personal information such as full name, email address, or ID numbers.
- Multiple Accounts: Do not create multiple accounts or share your account with others.
