Patch Notes 3.6.0

VCT team and player tier lists, 150+ new badges, prices in Shop History, new-shop alerts and animated cosmetics for PRO subscribers.

Hey, Raphael here! 3.6.0 is out in the stores. It takes tier lists to the pro scene, fills the shop with badges and brings the app’s first animated cosmetics. At the end there’s also an adjustment to the energy economy that I want to explain properly. Here’s what changed.

VCT Tier Lists

Skin tier lists went well, so now you can do the same with the pro scene. All four VCT leagues are in: Americas, EMEA, Pacific and China.

  • Teams or players: pick what you want to rank. Teams are grouped by region, each with its logo. Players show up with a photo, grouped by their team.
  • Up to 25 per list, spread across the tiers however you like.
  • Share it with the community like any other post and see who agrees with your S tier.

150+ new badges

The shop got more than 150 profile badges, so you can show who you are beyond your rank. They’re split by theme:

  • Player style
  • Playstyle
  • Music
  • Hobbies & interests
  • Misc, with things like One Piece, Pokémon and Star Wars

Each one costs 2000 energy and is available to everyone, subscriber or not.

Animated cosmetics for PRO subscribers

Added to the shop right after the release: 9 animated rings and 12 animated card backgrounds, exclusive to SpikeHub PRO subscribers. They live in their own section of the shop, marked with the SPIKEHUB PRO frame. Each one costs 8000 energy and, once bought, it’s yours forever.

More new stuff

  • Prices in Shop History: the history added in 3.5.0 now also shows each skin’s price on the days it showed up for you.
  • New shop alert: a notification at 21:01 Brasília time (UTC-3), when the daily shop rotates.
  • Night Market alert: a notification when the Night Market opens. You can turn either one on or off in Settings > Notifications.
  • Profile boost your way: when you boost, pick SpikeHub Boost (the usual gold with a galaxy background) or My setup, which uses your own ring, frame and background.
  • Your ring everywhere: the ring you equip on your profile now also shows on your posts, your comments and in LFG chat.

Improvements

  • Shop prices are correct again.
  • Better stability and performance across the app.

Energy economy adjustment

We found an old bug that inflated the energy balance of some accounts, without the player doing anything wrong. The bug is fixed, and balances that had gone above 10,000 because of it were adjusted.

To be clear:

  • More than 99% of players were not affected.
  • If you earned your energy legitimately, you kept it.
  • Everything you already bought is still yours.

Nobody is being accused of anything here. The mistake was ours, and the adjustment keeps the shop fair for everyone. If you think your balance was changed by mistake, reach out and I’ll look at it case by case.
